Overview *
This Workshop is designed to teach participants the “How To” of producing a documentary. During the course, participants are taught camera framing, composition, lighting, camera handling, directing and editing. Participants will learn to work together as a film team to write, direct, shoot, and edit a documentary project during the course.
The pace of this course is intensive and participants must be prepared to live and breathe production for the length of the course.
Workshop Goal
No prior filming experience is required as this course is designed to serve the needs of a diverse group of participants, yet through hands-on classes and exercises, all participants will gain an understanding of the requirements and rigors of documentary productions, as well as experience the exhilaration of seeing a completed project.
Our hope is each participant can use their talent not only for themselves but to serve the church and God in a unique way.
